My Life

Welcome back for week two!  So this week I’m going to talk about why i choose to become a student at Purdue Fort Wayne and a little about my schooling back ground along with my decision to become a teacher.  So first off as i said in my previous blog i was born in Columbia City. I started elementary school at Little Turtle Elementary School as one of the first kindergarten classes there. Pretty cool right? Anyways I went there until third grade or about a month of third grade anyways before moving to a small town in New York State. My mom was born in this small town and went to school at Westfield Academy and Center School until she was in sixth or seventh grade and then her and my grandparents moved to Churubusco Indiana. The reason we moved back to my moms hometown was because a few years prior to us moving my grandpa passed away because of a massive heart attack so naturally my mom wanted to be with her dads family. Hello! Welcome to my blog! This is my first ever blog so with that being said this will be an adventure for sure. To start with i will introduce myself.  My name is Novella I am 20 years old, and i will be 21 in June. I am a third year student at Purdue Fort Wayne. I am a double major in English and in Secondary Education. I hope that after graduation I can become a High School English teacher.  Growing up I moved around a lot, I was born in Columbia City and I moved to a small town in the state of New York, which is where my mom was born, and then we spent a little while in West Virginia as well. When my family and I moved back to Indiana I went to Whitko High School before finally finding my self in Churubusco where I graduated with the class of 2017. I have three sisters, one older and two younger sisters. My older sister Tiffany is 26 years old and she has three kids, my niece Chloe and my two nephews Lucas and Oliver. We didn’t meet my older sister until i was 10...
